Best Gun Training in Tennessee
Holly Edwards is a staff reporter for the Tennessean, a paper I am usually highly critical of because of their repeated anti-Second Amendment slant. But she writes an article detailing her experience at a carry-permit class at Nashville's Academy of Personal Protection and Security.Holly captures the essence of the class, i.e., one Buford Tune.
I already had my permit when I drove to Nashville to take this class from Buford, and I was of the opinion that requiring gun owners to take this class was the biggest waste of time imaginable. The class I took was near-worthless; worse even, because I was mis-informed on a number of items.
Buford set me straight. His class is two days. The first was twelve hours in the classroom, and I never got bored once. The next day was on the range. Everyone in the class shot 50 rounds and everyone in the class qualified.
But it was the most bizarre yet worth-while experience I ever had.
Read the article. And if you carry in Tennessee, drive over to Nashville and take this class from Buford. You'll be glad you did.
