Kerry Unraveling -- In Spite of the Media

- Standing opposite of the handful of veterans that stood beside Kerry on stage at the DNC in Boston are over 250 veterans that make up the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth -- who tell a different story of John Kerry.
- Cavalier's Guardian WatchBlog has a scathing account of how Kerry using approximately 16 weeks of Swift Boat service to hide his 19 years of anti-military and anti-intelligence gathering highly partisan Senate voting record.
- The Captain's Quarters and Powerline both rip apart Kerry's "I spent Christmas 1968 in Cambodia" lie that he has been telling for 33 years -- even on the Senate floor.
The New Republic (*gag*) puts forth a pitiful attack on the veracity of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth ad, and calls these men "right-wing weeds". While never questioning the funding of MarxOn.org, papers such as WaPo smears the Veterans group, saying they are "tainted by the chief source of its funding: Republican activists dedicated to defeating Mr. Kerry in November."
The duplicity of the American press is astounding. While calling for Bush's "missing records" to prove he didn't go AWOL, they attack veterans in an attempt to discredit them because they are speaking out against Kerry.
Even foreign nationals are jumping to shield Kerry (and no, it's not the French). Les Jones reports that somebody in Japan has purchased the SwiftBoatVets.com domain and has it redirected to an anti-Swift Boat Veterans for Truth smear article on "the liberal e-zine Salon.com".
