In real life, AlphaPatriot is Darrell Carden.

The views presented on this site in no way reflects those of my employer, family, friends, acquaintances or distant cousins as these generally fall into three categories: the smart ones that agree with me, those that tolerate me because of my wit, charm, great intellect and modesty, and those who think that I'm a raving wingnut who's one Kennedy away from going medieval on the next vegan moonbat that barks.

Proof Bloggers are Wrong

The Captain's Quarters is carefully following developments in what is being billed as Kerry's Next Cambodia Story.

In 2001 John Kerry claimed to have been at the signing of the agreement that signaled the end of the first Gulf War. The Captain's Quarters contends and is attempting to prove that this is about as true as Kerry's previous claim that he spent Christmas in Cambodia on a super-secret CIA mission while on a big, noisy boat listening to a speech by a president that couldn't yet be president (and he's got a hat to prove it!).

The blogosphere breathlessly waits to see if bloggers can have the same impact as they did in Rathergate.

However, thanks to my close ties to the Kerry Campaign and the inner workings of CBS, I can tell you that this picture will appear on 60 Minutes next week which will shut down this pernicious smear on the part of right-wing pajama-clad fanatics:

Remember all the gnashing of teeth about the detainees at Gitmo being held as 'enemy combatants' without trial, etc. Just like POWs are held during a period of war? Here's why you hold guys like that: Maulvi Abdul Ghaffar, reportedly... [Read More]
