Inconvenient Youth: Gore III Arrested -- Again
With the Gorebot's Live Earth event looming (just 3 more days!), son Al Gore III grabs the headlines by getting arrested for going 100 MPH (in a Prius) and being idiot enough to be doing so with marijuana, Xanax, Valium, Vicodin and Adderall (used for ADD) in the car.
Just One Minute reminds us of Gore III's past brushes with the law:
- 1995: suspended from school for smoking marijuana (this one came from WNYMedia.net)
- August 2000: reckless driving charge when clocked at 94 MPH
- September 2002: drunk driving
- December 2003: marijuana possession, driving without headlights at night
Riehl World View has words of advice for daddy Gore Jr.
This can happen to anyone's children, but Gore might want to start spending less time lecturing the world with junk science and more time with his family. Perhaps they need him more than we do right now.
Daily Pundit says he didn't know a Prius could go that fast, and wonders about the inclusion of the make of the car in the news story:

Looking for commentary from the Left was a bit difficult, but I did find where Jane Genova asks if we can "leave [the Gores] alone on this one" while Talk Left laments:
I hope he doesn't get the same "equal treatment" Paris Hilton got.
Yeah, the rest of us are hoping they finally take his license away before he kills someone.

Unless you are living with an addiction, and that includes the family members of the addicted person, you will have no idea the years that go by until they begin to self-destruct and show damage. Most of these people are so bright that they have managed to hide their problems for years. So it really doesn't matter that Al Gore III is 24...what matters is that he didn't kill or hurt anyone and he is alive. I believe that he needs to go to a really intensive rehab where he will get tools to identify and deal with his triggers. Unfortunately, I don't think he has hit bottom. I hope he and his family get the help they desparately need and the people/doctors who gave the drugs get caught. There are too many people with medical licenses and perscription pads. It is so easy to get these meds.

More Gore Less War Less greed cheeper dope for a far out groovy lifestyle. Get the Pigs of Greed out of our society and flush corporate america away sooner than later. Admit it CAPITALISM is a failure(especially if we have to compete against illegal people on our homeland soil, we could get better wages when the markets allowed if the bottom wasn't flooded by illegal people in the system). So smoke some dope and get mellow. You can see through your hyped up life of consumerism and slavery of due to stuff you financed. Time now to realize that gardens do grow in dirt and animals get fat on slop so if we can just grow our goods and stay on the farm and get high we won't even need PRIUS's. Gore's son has the right idea but what was his destination? Was Paris at the beach and he didn't want to miss a crotch shot or was he just on his way to his condo to put his feet up and watch tv to know what he was supposed to buy next??? And global warming is being caused by all these computers that are running in all corners of the earth!! Mine is smoking is yours!!!
