Support Pro-War Veterans for Congress

Iraq Veterans for Congress is a way to support eleven "pro-victory", conservative veterans of the Iraqi theater that are currently running for a seat in the House of Representatives. From the mission statement:
Whether Soldier, Sailor, Airman, or Marine, we all shared a common goal in Iraq: victory. As Republican candidates for Congress we share a vision for America’s future, her security, and that of future generations. We are unified in our commitment to relieve the Democrats of their command of Congress.
Voters want to restore leadership and honor back to Washington. Who better to accomplish that mission than our generation of warriors?
That's difficult to argue with.
The effort is the brain child of candidate Kieran Michael Lalor, running in New York's 19th district against a first-term Democrat. It seems to be an attempt to garner national attention for local races -- not a bad campaign strategy as they seek 4,000 individuals who are willing to donate $25 to each of the candidates, a mere $275 to help send a coalition of like-minded veterans to Washington:
Lalor added that the group intends to bring its message to a nationwide audience through media appearances and other efforts that will aid in fundraising, communications, and a number of other aspects of the individual campaigns.
My only concern about this effort is that when the original announcement was made in early January, there were twelve veterans on the list. Since then, Capt. Duncan D. Hunter has been removed. I've contacted both Lalor's and Hunter's campaigns and asked why, and will update this post as soon as (or if) I receive an answer.
Update: I never received an answer from either Lalor or Hunter's people, but Duncan Hunter is once again listed on the website.
In the meantime, here are the eleven twelve candidates supported by Iraq Veterans for Congress. Even if you can't afford $25 each, a ten dollar donation for each of these deserving candidate would total to $110. Dig deep:
